Progressive Media Outlets
Many young progressives are left to wonder, “Are there other sources of news and information that discuss the issues I want to hear more about?”
At WCYD we compiled a list of credible and well-known media sources ranging from TV journalism, publication websites, and YouTube channels.
From climate change to healthcare to civil rights or national news, our hope is the give our generation the resources to engage in other forms of media aside from the mainstream outlets we are so used to hearing.
“… young people want—and don’t always get—a range of things from their news; not just information, but inspiration, a sense of belonging and meaning, social integration, representation, and local understanding.”
